Acquiring Full Metal 1911 Question
I have a question concerning acquiring a full metal 1911 Airsoft gun in Canada...
Is it legal to order parts of airsoft guns from the US, or will they be seized? Also can I build a gun completely from scratch? I'm wondering if it would be legal for me to order all of the necessary parts for a custom full metal 1911. If the answer is yes, then not only would I be able to acquire one, but it would save me money in customizing my own airsoft gun because I wouldn't need to replace stock parts. So the question...Is it legal? And if yes, what parts do I need to build one myself (if I can)? |

you can't import the lower frame of a pistol, it will be seized so NO you cannot build a gun from scratch, get age verified and buy a gun or parts in the classifieds section

k ty. I have another question.
007airsoft is Canadian, could I order one from there and receive it here? I don't know anything about shipping so I'm wondering if it would be seized somehow as it comes to Ontario from there, as the website is run from Calgary. |

007airsoft does not do restricted orders. Customs borders are between countries not provinces or territories, so no items will not be seized if shipped within Canada.

Alright. One more.....after reading your post I closely inspected the 007airsoft website and learned, after reading the "legality" section and the FAQ, that colored guns are not sold to civilians! This is getting old...is there any possible way to get a full metal 1911 in Canada at all or am I wasting my time?
(I promise this is the last question) |

Like someone said above get age verified. Then there will be lots of doors opened to you.

Alright...thanks then.
BTW I sent them an e-mail just out of curiosity, because the guns which are colored are considered "replica firearms" and they specifically state that they are not available to civilians (they don't list the price for the ones which aren't civilian legal) yet none of the gas pistols say "not available for civilians" and the prices are listed for those. (I will get to the bottom of it.....) |

You can get non clear guns if you get age verified. It's very simple

Instead of repeatedly spouting off "get aged verified" left and right why dont some of you try giving an explanation to what age verfication is next time.
Sure telling a person to get age verified to buy from the classifieds makes sense to us, but a detailed explanation is more helpful This website has a process called age verification, where if you are 18 or older you can meet with a volunteer representative of this website who will meet with you in person, there is no way around this, no phone, no webcam, in person only, where they will require to see a legitimate piece of photo identification. After the process is completed, it can take sometime as this is all volunteer work, you will be granted access to this websites buy and sell section, where you can find both new and used guns as well as parts, for fair and competitive prices. Although it’s not always the case, it is sort of an open market. However age verification is only required to purchase from ASC buy and sell and any of its retailers and a few other non ASC based Canadian sites. I you are not interested in age verification then you will have to do your own ground work to find an airsoft gun.
