Question G&G SCAR L (few questions)

Hi, i've decided to to go with the G&G SCAR L, and want to hear from anyone who owns it. Of course i read/watched alot of reviews before posting this, but i thought it wouldn't hurt anyway . My question is: I heard that G&G guns prefer G&G magazines. I mean literally have problems with magz made by other companies (TM, CA etc.). Also what battery would you recommend for it?

P.S : Sorry if im not the first one to post this

It's better being in the newbie tank, that way you'll only get helpful posts instead of people flaming you for whatever reasons they have.

Apologies, though I do own a scar, I have no idea how the G&G one performs.

As for the battery, you'll have to use either an 8.4 or 9.6v mini, which fits in the stock. Theres no place to put a large battery unless you do some medium level modding to fit it into an ANPEQ.

I own a G&G SCAR-L and it's a fantastic AEG.

It has a stock 6.03mm tightbore, it has fantastic range, its rate of fire is good and, the collapsible stock makes it useful in CQB also.

I use only STAR mags with it and I've never had an issue. As for the battery, I use a small-type battery.

Overall, it's a very flexible gun and great for the price.

what voltage do you use? What difference would it be between 8.4 and 9.6? Would ROF suffer alot?

I use 9.6. I'm not sure how much ROF would be affected with an 8.4...

could you possibly give a link to your battery, or maybe estimate dimensions? I would realy aprechiate that .. I am kind of new to airsoft. Just don't want to find out that the battery that i ordered doesn't fit

It lasts well through a whole game...I don't shoot all that much though.

That will really depend on a lot of things: How well the mechbox is greased and shimmed, how much shooting you do at a game, wiring quality, etc.

For example, in my upgraded G36 I can game nearly all day on a 1500mah mini battery, whereas some people manage to suck a 3000mah large dry in a day.
