Clear coat brand
Hi,
I recently paint my barrel with flat black Krylon but the finish is not very hard. I read somewhere that we can add more durability by adding clear coat but what is that? What brand should I take (for metal)? It will be Flat or Glossy? Thank you! ledor473

I don't think you want a glossy shiney barrel. Use flat.
And what do you mean it's not hard? Krylon works best always. |

I use Krylon ''make it last'' clear acrylic sealer. Normaly its for Krylon ''make it stone'' and the finish between shiny and flat... more on the flat side. Anyway i'm pretty happy with it. I use 2 coats.
Hope this help.

@Mr.Hitman: When I mount my rail on it (very gently) it scratch the paint. The paint is made 2 week ago, I put 6 thin layer of paint but it scratch... (it's on metal, I never had this problem on plastic)
