Magazine Reloading Question
Hey, I love reloading my gun over and over again with empty mags, but i want to know: is it bad for the rifle? Because sometimes its easy to put in the mag and sometimes its not. Someone please help and give me a answer!

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

not really *bad* for it, but it will put some extra wear on the magwell and mags like normal reloading will, I do it all the time ;P

With an AK your more likely to damage and wear the nozzle with excess reloading. That said it's a minute amount and I still love to do it and practice my bump reloads

practice makes perfect. unless you're ramming your mags in there, you will be fine.

I'd be a bit wary about doing it with plastic mags just because they're probably more susceptible to wear but otherwise it's all good.

I'd say go hard. Practicing mag drills is something I try to do whenever I can. sure, there's wear and tear on the mags and the gun, but the development of the muscle memory far outweighs the cost of the parts. Also, you could just practice with a couple or three junk mags.

I did this with a my new SOCOM Gear X36 magwell converter for my CA36, ended up breaking the tub that feeds into the mag. Not entirely at the fault of continuously reloading, the mags wobbled a fair bit which I should have addressed first. I found sometimes you may need to do this a few times to "break in" the mags for smoother insert/ejection though I've only experienced this with 2 of my 5 airsoft guns.

The AUG feeding nozzle is also kinda iffy if you ram the mags in hard because it's very easy to misalign the mag when you're going in fast.
Also look out on GBB pistols with plastic mag catches (like Glocks). If you're not loading them "properly" (ie, depressing the mag catch before loading/unloading the mag, supporting the mag before depressing the mag catch), they can wear down quite fast and cause a poor seal between the top gasket and the blow-back chamber.
