SRC cansoft line.... Reliable/durable.... (they are lots of review on those here on ASC, well at least threads talking about them.....

But i strongly suggest going for a m4/m16 variant, because parts are easier to find, and cheaper too (mags, internal upgrade parts...) and easy to customize.... you can go from a CQB configuration, to a Sniper DMR/SPR configuration!!! :P

I was thinking the same thing.

As for the OP, use that 2 years to learn more about airsoft and it's implications. Read as much information as you can, and when the time comes, you'll have enough knowledge (I hope) about airsoft to play safe and be a mature airsofter.

Seriously.

1. Springer rifles are difficult at best to game, and expensive as all hell to actually make useful.

2. Your "friends" yard, is not a proper field. But Im sure he owns like 2 million acres surrounded by a 10 foot wall with barbed wire right? Wrong, I can't stop you from playing there, but I can suggest that you consider the ramifications if your field is inappropriate.

3. Good things come to those who wait.

I may be out of place here...

But these "minors" are the future of the sport and I think encouraging them is directly related to encouraging the sport.

Also, not everyone has the money to play at fields, entrance costs money that some people just don't have.

If my backyard was big enough I would play there, however it's not. So I play on land that friends of mine own. We are responsible and take every safety precaution. More so than any field would I'm sure.

I think it's a question of maturity, NOT age.

Cheers,

Anthony

It means that when we play(my friends and I), we take every precaution. I'm new to airsoft but I've played paintball for years (many paintball fields allow airsoft) and I know for fact that many paintball fields cut corners when it comes to safety.

I thought I was clear in what I stated, I guess not.

Sorry for the confusion.

Anthony

Yes you are out of place,

Airsoft isn't dying, we get alot of new 18+ players coming out to games every week.

It is a question of legal responsibility, a minor cannot be held legally responsible for his actions, a minor (in Ontario) cannot legally own an airsoft gun.

But of course, a paintballer that just showed up here knows more about airsoft than the rest of us, so do carry on

I don't even have to be here for my bit to be said wow.

but seriously read what people have quoted me for. Its circled the forums and helped a few people because it outlines the basics of the forum and its rules.

Shall we continue this in PM?

Because you're being rather hostile, and I previously stated that I MAY BE OUT OF PLACE. Because I DON'T KNOW BETTER. But according to you, I know more about airsoft. So if you wanna continue our little ***** fight, it should be private instead of on the boards.

Thanks,

Anthony

Edit: Please ignore my posts as I was indirectly asking a question that has nothing to do with the topic.

hostile how so?

someone corrects you and you take offense, perhaps you shouldn't get involved in a game where people fire projectiles at each other, as it seems you may need some thicker skin.

My original post was made to remind people that we do not encourage random minors to own or play airsoft. Look up the topic, it's been discussed to death on these boards.

Even your bit about "future of the sport" is BS, it's an adult sport, if people want to be mature they can do the mature thing and wait until their time comes, like everyone else.

Minors that flaunt their airsoft collections and continue to ask advice on guns and how/where to get them are spitting on the rules and shoving it in the face of all who have waited and who continue to wait.
