I threw an 8.4v 3600mah battery on my stock KWA G36 and the trigger response and ROF is excellent.

That's entirely untrue. A higher C rating most definitely should not affect your ROF in any way. And if it is, for the love of god dispose of that LiPo right now because it's suffering from over-current draw.

The C rating is how much amperage your battery can continuously supply to your motor. If your motor is trying to draw more amps than your LiPo is rated for, your causing over-current draw, and that's going to damage your LiPo, maybe even cause it to vent.

A 7.4v 1600mah 20C battery will have the exact same ROF as a 7.4v 1600mah 50C battery on the same AEG. Just like a 7.4v 1600mah 20C battery will have the exact same ROF as a 7.4v 5000mah 20C battery.

LiPo's give you all the amperage you need, so the only thing that affects your ROF is voltage, and gauge of your wire leads.

Furthermore, everyone should read this thread prior to even considering buying a LiPo battery
