I got that email and just deleted it, recognizing the scam... but kept thinking "man, I could swear that name sounds familiar..."

This is typical scam mail...Mostly they're from Nigeria.
General rule of Thumb

Western Union = SCAM

in any online deals. People don't realize are really dumb, goto WU website they'll warn you (even though they're making money through scam)

Guys I need help.

Got the same email, its a scam that has been used to bilk actual family members of its email senders many times. I paid no attention to it.

Yes its Ray's email, but I am sure he did not send it, probably the same scammer/virus.
