METAL BODY's are a "NO NO" to import. But i think upper metal receivers (for armalites) are fine.
In any case you will get smacked in the butt by the border. Just shed the extra dough and not take the chance. Be smart, use your head. Did you even read the FAQ's on importation? |

yeah one is magic and the other sucks.
they have a secret transpacific tunnel that passes right through customs and pops up in Manitoba You'll have no import issues that way. If the tunnel is really busy and they can't deliver within 24hr they opt to drop ship....out of a transport plane. They just take the newest guy in the company and push him out the plane with a chute and GPS...he walks it right to your front door...again, skipping customs altogether. Are you drunk? or just stupid? |

I dare you to order a receiver from ehobby. Now that you're blacklisted, your chances from ordering a metal receiver and getting it in went from 1% chance to none.
Learn how to use the search function before asking dumb questions. especially before doing dumb things that fuck you for the rest of your life in canada. |

Ok, we have an FAQ section for a reason. It's not just too look pretty sitting by the window or to suck up bandwidth. Within the FAQ there is a stickied post called, oddly enough, "Importing Airsoft and You". You can find it here:
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=40318 Within this post, you would have found (had you bothered to read it) the following statement. "Okay, so I can’t import guns. What about parts and accessories? Yes. The good news is that most parts and accessories, including most magazines, can be successfully imported by individuals without requiring a BFL. Examples of things you CANNOT import: - AEG magazines with fake cartridges (i.e. P90, G36, SG 552 mags) - Frames, receivers, and metal bodies - Suppressors and silencers - Prohibited-length outer handgun barrels (i.e. USP Compact, Glock 26) - Hand and 40mm grenades that look real" Now, yes, there are people who order these items (and full guns as well) and some get through. Well, even the sun shines on a dogs ass somedays, so what? They got very lucky. If you did indeed have this item seized, you will receive a notice of seizure and you could appeal it. In this case, you'd lose and in either case, you're now red flagged and customs will open everything you import for a very long time.

He's aware that he wasn't supposed to import it...
He had them labeled as toy parts. He's aware of the risk of seizure that he took.... time to let it die... either they'll come or they won't. |

So how does it feel trying to penetrate a brick? |

Thinking that having "Toy Parts" on the customs declaration (whether you ask for it or the shipped does it on their own) in an effort to, ahem, "assist" their successful shipment is like sitting in front of a five year old, stuffing your face with cotton candy and telling him it's fiberglass insulation so you don't have to share. It difference between the two is the five year old will throw a tantrum and steal your shit later, CBSA have the ability and the authority to fuck your life up at minimum if you import stuff. If you have to go across the border after being red flagged, you could be sitting there waiting to get back in for a very long time if they so desire.
