A possible reason that his trajectory is suddenly veering to the left or right may be that the tensioner or nub is not centered over the barrel window. It's for this exact reason that I never use the Modify Ryo-whatever flat nub - it's undersized for the hop window so it shifts from left to right.

I don't particularly mind or care for bridge-hop or flat-hop tensioners if only for the sole reason that the way the tensioner is designed does not allow for the rubber to pivot fully around the hop arm. I've gotten decent-enough results with the flat and bridge-hops but as you saw last summer, my R-hop still outshot your bridge hop. *shrug*

Hit me up when you get access to that indoor range, I'll bring my shittttttttt
Your personal R-hop at 440 FPS outshot a bridge hop I slapped together in a spare upper the night before at 390 FPS =P.

I'll text you when I figure out how I'm gonna do the test. I'm still trying to decide how to set targets up at that range without having to spend a million dollars.

A wooden dowel with string or wire hanging from it and the tin lids from from soup cans attached to the string. Should cost about 5 bucks and give you a pretty small target to hit. Whole or cut out tin pie plates if you need bigger targets. Use two strings and the target won't spin.

Count hits is too easy, and doesn't give any insight into how BBs spread.

I'm looking for a way to measure groupings at 250 feet. Groupings aren't exactly going to be small. I'm also looking to test different brands of BBs at that range as well. I may have to buy 50 giant sheets of paper...

Perceived grouping spread was tighter. :P
Anyway I'm not sure if I want to participate in the Dick-Waving competition that routinely takes place in the Upgrades & Modifications section.

Target Sports sells cardboard IPSC/IDPA targets if that helps. Ain't cheap though. I have materials for target stands.

I got the perfect dickwaving gun for that exercise... only if it would stop shooting blanks.

If you don't mind my asking, what brand hop rubber are you using with your bridge hops?

I mostly use Modify flat rubbers. Only the soft grey ones though.

Would the promy blue, smooth rubber do the job as well? And where do you get your modify rubbers from? Canada or imported?

I've never used Prometheus blue. It should work. I get them from AirsoftParts.ca.
