Rust in the metal part of slide on a KSC Glock

well first off im not the person to tell you how do take the blow back chamber out of your gun. first find somone who can give you direction. after you have it out all the rust remouved and cleaned of all oil i would use tremclad rust paint. you can get it in a small tin at home depot. not the spray use the kind you brush on. then put 1 or 2 coats on. you just want to make sure that you dont put it on to thick or it could inhibbit moving parts. also make sure to not get paint on any plastic or ruber parts it could eat them. graylocks is right though id use 0000 steel wool vs sand paper

Avoid paint. It may have chemicals in it's composition that could really screw your gun.
Stick with what works.
Sandpaper? May as well use a grinder...

My suggestion is proven with ANY type of gun, airsoft or 'real'.

Pyle... suggesting paint is not wise. Period. Do some research before giving ideas that can cost more than they are worth.

Yes, removing the screw at the rear of the chamber block allows it to come out wholey.

Just be carefull about parts#23 and they can freely slide out the forward nozzle end after removing the entire chamber from the slide.

I can't figure out how to remove this thing. It feels like its stuck in there pretty good I don't want to break anything, how do I pull it out? There's really nothing to push it out by. I've done some searches and can't seem to find anything on how to remove the blowback chamber on the ksc 19?

If you do what I said, you wont need to take anything apart except remove the slide.

Yeah but all the little crevices and stuff down in there are rusted to hell as well, it's pretty tough to get in there with any leverage with a piece of steel wool. Hmmm maybe I'll try wrapping the steel wool around a q tip or something but as you can see there are some really tight little places in there.

I remove the chamber block by banging the slide against my hand until it becomes loose enough to grasp with my fingers.

Thanks man, I tried that and it worked. I just banged it on a desk a little bit and then it started to pop out a bit then I could grip it and slide her out of there. I found only the surface to be rusted really, the rest of it is all lubed up bigtime.
