I can tell you up front that both projects costed me over $1000 per project. Good luck. I look forward to seeing what you come up with.

I was just wonder. Im 17 now(turned 17 june 8th) so i have tons of time to save my money....But im more in to the C7A1 look. I was just wondering what would u suggest for C7A1 ?

C7A1 is actually easier. You'll need a TM M16 and then replace the plastic body with a Flat Top Reciever and put a C-79 Elcan or replica Elcan on it. Rumour has it Guarder is producing C7 Recievers soon.

Im willing to spend any where 300-500 bucks(on top of the gun) and does it have to be TM ......im kinda worried about barrel wabble

once you put on the metal body it will fix the barrel wobble.

I have an ics m4, I sanded the Olympic arms lion and other trades off and took it to someone that dose laser engraving, although I never did actually go through with having the engravings done, (I will one day) the guy said he could defiantly do that for me. just something to think about if your buying a tm gun upgrading to a metal body all the other work. you could get a ics m16 sand the receiver with fine sand paper to remove the trades and take it to someone who dose laser engraving. make sure to have high res pics or the diemaco receiver to show him exactly how it will look as well as a rough size of them. the receiver is according to ics aluminum but double check and wala you have a custom made diemaco receiver.

Thxs for the suggestion.....going to save some money for sure now, just got to read some reveiws ........also if i was going to go with TM, type of m16 would be bettee for the c7 look? a1 or a2

A TM M16 by itself is pretty much a C7A1 without the trades. Replace the body with a metal C7 body and you can either do a C7A1 or C7A2 (if you get an Elcan)

theres more to an A2 than just an Elcan and the body, 6-Position stock, 3-sided forward RIS mount, optional AOTech Sight, buile-in mount for a fore-grip, and stock-sight-barrel cover-and grip are all green tinted to make a less oblivious gun in non-matte black enviroments.
