Syn...I'm sure that what you're doing is really cool...but I don't understand any of it.
I just hook 2 fans up in parallel and connect it to a 9v battery, with an ON/OFF switch interrupting one of the power lines. A new battery lasts about all day (i.e. I've never drained a new battery at a game, even when it's been on for most of it) and even with 2 fans (the ones from Active Surplus) they're really quiet. Just loud enough to know that it's on, but not distracting or audible to anyone else. I've seen Don's momentary switch setup...is that what you're doing? |

Yes DonP is the man! His link is in the first post. It's not rocket science, by any means , but these little electronics project sure are fun. I also got the 3 round burst from DonP and it is great and useful. I hate full using auto with a 50round mag. If you program it, it can even do double taps with one trigger pull.

Yup, 25mm square...can't recall the thickness
The 3rnd burst is awesome! Everyone that I've installed one for loves it. 10 pulls and you're done your real cap...easy to keep track of. |

What hapens if I mount a computer fan controller to a fan that I have. I know it works via variable resistor but does this just heat up or drain the 9V instead of turning it off?
