I got something called Nitesiters. They're basically white stick on dots that glow in the dark, and they're AMAZING. They hold incredibly well and their glow is unreal. All you have to do is clean your gun, stick them on, gently heat the area with the new stickers to melt the adhesive on properly and there you've got it.

Check the site out.

I was looking for a cheap alternative and especially for GBB pistols' sights that have no dots this is the way to go. I was able to talk to the guy who created this item and he seemed legit enough for me to want to order them. Youtube has plenty a few great testimonials as well if you need a little more to go on.

Refined them a bit

@ Slono: Those are cool, and cheap.

Not as cheap as these home-mades, but good and cheap non the less.

Here is what I did this morning. I found they were brighter, when the holes they go in, are left silver from the dril bit. Left the epoxy clear this time (to also let light bounce around); and, after seeing Slono's link, changed the front to green as well.

Definitely a very creative way of making your own. I once thought of that too, but didn't believe on myself enough to carry through with it. I'd probably ruin my sights before I'd get them to work

Don't expect a super long glow when you charge them. After all, if you charge them for 10-15 under a bright regular lamp light and then play with it in the dark your eyes will adjust to the darkness so the glow will still be noticeable even if gradually fades over time. Nevertheless I can see people using these for real guns, as they were intended for that use anyway.

A teammate of mine ordered the nitesitters for our gbb's and overall we do like them quite abit.

Think of the performance as about 1.5 to twice as long lasting per charge as the TM glock sights.

They come in a pack with the nitesitters, a razor blade, an alcohol swab, and a toothpick.

You clean your GBB sights with the alcohol swab, then use the razor to take one sight off at a time, then place / drop the nitesitter onto the gbb sight. Move it around abit on the gbb sight to get good placement, then use the flat end of the toothpick to press / squish the sight onto the gbb sight.

Lastly you use heat to "activate" the glue on the back of the nitesitter and you are all done.

I put these on my tm 4.3 hicapa, and they worked great! I love the three white dots, kind of sights and these nitesiters allow you to put that style of sight on any gun, provided there is enough room.

I still have a few of them left, unfortunatley my KWA PTP the white dots on this GBB are too small and the nitesitters are too big, so they dont fit on the back, only on the front sight. But that is ok I guess, I am planning on using the remainders on my RS M92 and I hope that the sights are big enough!

I fired many, many rounds and the nitesitters never fell off or moved after placement on the 4.3, although I do not have the gun anymore so I am not sure how well they held up over time...

I am not sure about that, but I do not believe so, the sights do not glow on their own at all, they require charging with a flashlight, just like the TM Glock sights, the difference is you can put them onto any gun, or any "thing" for that matter and they last longer then the TM sights did...

To anyone who was interested in how it is accomplished.

Glow in the dark things are NOT harmful... unless of course you paint your walls with glow in the dark paint and sleep right next to it for YEAARRRRRRS.

Also, it's not harmful unless it's made of tritium or radium paint that can be exposed

Screw paint, I just picked up some radio active waste from my local home depot! These babies will glow for years without need to expose to a lightsource for a recharge!
