Sorbo pad just makes the pop quieter... I'm pretty sure sounding less like a toy means making that noise louder.
I say... Metal piston head, noveske firepig amplifier, helical gears, since all flat cut gears whine, good bearings, get someone proficient with electrical motors to give a high torque one a good tune-up. Theoretically, having a 1 metal tooth piston should make it a bit quieter as well since plastic is a bit softer, and won't have a metal-on-metal noise. Ooh, also, either keep trying diff metal bodies, or get a plastic one, because metal ones echo, and enhance the gear whine. Or suck it up and buy a inokatsu m4 super.

P90 have a nice sound. And with a supressor, it's as close to silent as you can with an AEG.
Remember that AEG sound different when you are not holding them. People on the receiving end only hear the taping sound of the silinder, wich sound like a distant firefight in the wood. I find that Gen2 gearbox (M4...) have the worst sound.
