Quick question about WE M4 nozzles. I've been running a WE HK416 for the past few months until the nozzle broke. Should I replace with a stock nozzle or switch to RA TECH?

I was wondering if anyone would be able to asset me in a problem that has me baffled. I have a WE M4 Open bolt and the issue at hand is that when I fire sometimes It can fire off 2-3 maybe more in a row before one will jam, and if It is on full auto then when the jam occurs then obviously the gas will spew out. My floating valve is brand new ( Just got it fixed by a member on here) and Im not really sure what to change, I'm firing .28

You need a new sear/hammer set. That is "normal" wear after 20 000 rounds. And a cheap part to replace. |

The bolt catch is out, I have it in my rifle. It's a bit smaller than the stock one, only an issue if you're stacking tolerances - I have a custom lower and an RS upper, so my bolt catch sometimes got pushed between the bolt and receiver until I modified my bolt carrier. As well, you'll need to do minor modificiations to ensure constant but strong locking.

He's having feeding issues, his sear/hammer seems to be fine as it is operating as supposed to on each firing mode, its just that his bb's jam. Even manually pulling the hammer and pulling the trigger on semi/auto with the upper removed seems to be working fine.

I had the same issue after 2 years on the stock sears. Basically at one point the hammer rides the bolt, and releases just enough gas to jam the BB in the hop-up lip. The valve says half open and spews the gas. Everything was working fine when outside the gun. I swapped my whole trigger unit to see if it made a difference and it did. Then swapped back and forth to find that the sears where just a bit too worn. |
