Now most enforcement agencies don't really care about this when dealing with airsoft, but when they want to play hard ball, they can, and will, nail you to the wall. All charges regarding replicas transfer to the Criminal Code of Canada as if they were real fire arms. SHA DO

Last time I went to have my M4 fixed by illusion I took it from Richmond Hill to Union via Go Train (no problems), Union station TTC subway and bus to Illusion in scarborough. No one bugged me or asked me about it, I had it in the 20 dollar Canadian Tire gun case.

Why don't you try wearing a paintball mask (backwards so it doesn't impede vision) so it looks to people like you're going out to paintball?

Best way, take it apart, disassemble it, have it in your luggage with foam and comfort around inside the luggage. Then a lock. It's one of the best ways.

Why don't you take a cab? If you live in downtown Toronto, it won't cost you more than $10 to get there. I know a $20 round trip isn't ideal, it's still cheaper than owning a car.

You won't get caught, carry the gun...
I transported 5 guns on the Subway and bus with my friend. We had a few duffle bags and just but some cheaper guns in bags and carried them. You won't get caught. The constables won't ask what you have in your bag. Just make sure the gun is covered. I don't have any legal standpoints on carrying Airsoft guns on trains or busses but you can do it no problem.

Just put the gun/guns in a locked secure box with secured foam, and try and take apart the gun/guns as much as you can...
Ive never done it but i heard from friends it works well... |

Hey, thats the bus I take...no joke #63
I haven't transported whole rifles but I have brought my pistol onto the subway and bus hidding in my laptop backpack. I was picking it up from a friend's place and didn't have access to a car at the time. I don't feel comfortable bringing my airsoft gear onboard public transit even if its hidden away and you don't draw attention to yourself though on the TTC, most people tend to keep to themselves anyways.

You're not going to have any problems with the TTC because they can't search you unless you've already done something stupid. I've seen people carrying 5ft bongs on the TTC, openly drinking, openly SMOKING and a bunch of other things that you probably shouldn't even be doing in your own home, but never stopped for carrying a suspicious looking case. I mean not to be morbid but the guy who killed Holly Jones (Toronto people will know who) had a duffel bag DRIPPING BLOOD, and nobody said a word.

I guess the Drivers are really just paid to drive not to care.

They have no right to search you at all, unless you tell them they can.
