The only insignia I wear are the...can't remember the german name now, but eagle and swastika, and thats on my cap. the "ss runes" are on my wool tunic, which I pretty much never wear. Way too hot.
I do the ss for the camo. Honestly. If I were forced to pick a division, it would be Wiking, based mostly because they were volunteers, and not "raised nazi's" like Hitlerjugend. AND they're norse. Vikings are just badass! |

I think he means the rank insignia there Scuba Steve (shoulder, collar and the upper arm chevrons). If there is 9 germans playing now in Manitoba its almost like the german version of the film The Dirty Dozen. Or in this case "Das Schmutzige Dutzend."

Same thing but non (arein) non pure German, push came to shove, they would be out the door with all other non Germans. The eagle and swastika is called a BEVO insignia. |

it's always great to see another WWII fan around....
its nice, but a few small things would really complete the impression, like a kar98 bayonet scabbard and a dummy bayonet. i still like my WWII U.S. infantry impression from reenacting...I dont have an airsoft garand though...so no airsofting in that.... I'd post pics, but me and the camera arent on speaking terms..... |

You might want to read a few more history text. What you think the Hitlerjugend was and what it actually was might be quite different.

And what exactly do you think it was? Boys 13-18 Were trained to use bayonets, dig trenches, defenses against gas and other military skills. They were pretty much brain washed.

We did the same thing in Canada during the forties. Read some fucking books!

That is very high on the list of things to get is a bayonet. The rifle is very imposing in Close Combat, but having the bayonet would make it that much… MORE!
