If this helps this is what I am looking at:

What should the guy do to prove its velocity? I suggested a letter from the sheriff or a local airsoft store. He didn't know and the box doesn't say the velocity on it. P.P.S. It's a waste of time, money and effort to fight the CBSA over a second-hand, UTG, mundane-grade sniper rifle. Incidentally, letter from the local airsoft shop or LE means absolutely nothing to the CBSA.
Buy from within Canada.
