I actually like the A2s. More then most other options at least. Going to, eventually, when I get around to it, get an umbrella corp grip 23 for mine.

I'm a big fan of the Grip 23. I would have them on all my guns if my AEGs didn't have to accommodate motors.

I used to not mind the A2 grip when I was younger, but now that my hands are bigger I no longer like it at all. The angle annoys my wrist as well

The problem with other grips is that lot of them are not fitting right on a ptw and there is some wobble. OEM fits better.

Really? perhaps once you've reached a point you can share post a pic! I've ordered the Tri-ad rail front Ehobbyasia, along with a new stock and handguard both as closely resembling the C7A2/C8 stock and frontguard

Ohhhhh so you're the one w/ the Tippy that looks like some sorta sci-fi heavy space trooper blaster.

Is it front heavy at all? Never seen an AR with a SIR rail I've liked in person (most I've seen are the shorter rails) but I'm digging this one.

I am the one, yes. I specialize in unusual guns. :P
It's actually amazingly balanced. It doesn't make the gun front heavy, so much as maintain an even weight through the entire rifle. This rifle has absolutely no wobble anywhere, from the buttpad to the flash hider. And the entire thing is almost perfectly balanced. Handling it is smooth and easy, as there is no uneven weight swinging around, or parts shifting.

Best bet is to read through this thread by "maybestopcalling". It's chalk full of information that will help you to "C8" your m4!

Does anyone know where to find a replica C8 handguard?
