KWA USP Mag falls out...
Hey.
So I got a kwa usp (cansoft version) and did some custom work on the slide and mag and worked beautifully for a week. I took it out to shoot a couple of days ago and when I shot the first bb, my mag fell out and broke the base plate. I thought it was just me that accidentally pushed the mag released so i picked it up and shot again and went through the whole mag. Today I did some dry firing in my basement(bb follower down) and the mag seems to be falling out more and more(every 5 shots or so). Now its at the point where every time I shoot, the mag falls out. My question is that is this a problem with the mag or the gun? I don't to buy another mag and have the same problem occurring... btw it doesnt fall out when I pull back the slide. Thanks. |

Either your mag catch is worn down (unlikely) or the broken baseplate results in your not inserting the magazine to a point where the mag catch positively engages (more likely). End result - take better care of your gun... dropping GBB mags is quite possibly the worst thing you can do for them.

Either slap that mag in hard when you put it in, or your mag catch is worn down.

I think I sanded down too much of that part. Last edited by andrew5826; April 24th, 2010 at 02:09.. |

Why the hell did you sand down your mag? You definitely sanded down too much, in comparison to the mags I've got...

"Hey guys I just picked up this new mod kit for KJW pistol mags, I hear its really awesome"
So yea, the mag catch is clearly way to worn down to be used properly. It will continue to fall out. Can you please explain WHY you sanded a functioning magazine? |
