S&W, Walther, Beretta in 0.177

ADMIN, feels free to move to trash... it an old topic

While getting a case for a BA, I came across this at a store:

Full metal, S&W trademark, as real as it get, beside it was a 0.177 P99, DEagle and a full size beretta storm with "silencer" in 0.177. Spoke with the staff, anyone can get them, no permit, no legal issue... It an old topic, but every time I see this, it "amaze" me that some people get busted hard (Barr... anyone) while you can walk in a store and get one of those... with the nice S&W on the barrel now...

Not true, you would still need to be 18+ for shop owners to sell you one.

very true,

Make me wonder, will S&W, Walther and Beretta move to airsoft after the 0.177 market???

I purchased a number of airguns online, no real check for age from anyone mind you the name on shipping is the same name on the credit card that paid for my order.

Isn't Beretta already into airsoft, I thought they had officially licensed Western Arms at one point? Not sure about the other companies, but I know Beretta doesn't actually make any of the .177 air guns that have their name on them...most are manufactured by Umarex.

There are a lot of dangerous things you can buy without needing a license or permit or registration...
