ICS selector switch
So my gun stopped firing a couple days ago and i was playing around with the mechbox and when I put pressure on the selector switch it fired and when I didn't, nothing happened.
What do I do?

Remove the mechbox from the lower.
Put the selector plate as far forward as possible. There is two little copper tabs that slide under the selector plate at the front. Bend them out a little bit more. Also make sure that there is no oxydation or carbon on the little tabs. Put the gun back together. |

If it is not green, it is not rush. Copper rust green, not brown.
There can be carbon and the surface can be damaged. That is a very good sign that tells this was the problem. The contact was not good so there were arc between the plate the the damaged contact. Clean the surface with a steel wool (the real thing, not SOS ones), the blade of an X-Acto or super fine sanding paper (400 and over). |
