You can't import into Canada. As wildcard said, you'll have to sell your guns in HK and get new ones in Canada. Your gear, parts, mags, etc, are fine to bring over by whatever means you choose.

I really don't want to do this. The VFC HK416 is the limited Premium version, there is no way to buy it now in Canada or anywhere. And also for WA Infinity I believe it already stop production for years. I looked for some store in Canada, I didn't find any on sale.

I have a friend who works in YVR airport security and I asked one of the officers on duty and he told me i just have to declare it and that it cannot be in your hand carry luggage. So it has to be in the check luggage. Maybe its a YVR thing I duno. Peace

Also different agents interpret the rules in different ways but the general consensus is that most of the time they will not make it through or the officer if not sure will elevate it to a supervisor. And sitting in an airport (especially a secure holding room) is never fun.

I work here in Calgary YYC and Ill tell you YES it is allowed in CHECKED BAGGAGE and it still has to be declared and cleared by your air carrier AND us.
NO it is not allowed to go threw by CBSA (customs) We take items like these every month because people are not smart enough to check out everything. Oh and L473ncy, the ramp rats and us are different Atleast over here we are.

Well to say the least, if you declare it they CANNOT charge you. You won't get it, but you won't be jailed.

Exactly. I worked for the CBSA this summer and had a guy declare two bags of Coca Leaves to my face...nothing happened except for us taking them away. (Decent sized bags, too...) And to another above post, CATSA is most DEFINITELY not CBSA....for instance, the CBSA knows your bottle of water is harmless
