Dual Wield?

On my previous thread
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthread.php?t=118573
Several people on page 2 have told me they dual wield their pistols.

Really? Does it actually work? I mean, I could imagine it being usable if you have a laser sight, since aiming down both sights won't work very well...

But I mean, aside from the cool factor, is it actually useful?

shouldnt have done a second thread for this.

IMO dual wielding pistols is like using a M200 for CQB. Impractical, a bitch to reload, and you can't properly aim down the sights unless you've been shooting for a good 5 or so years

Of course its gonna work. Depending on the player and their playing style it may not work well although in some instances it may work very well. Usefulness is entirely debatable.

Imagine dual wielding forks to eat a salad.

CQB it can work, but at least one gun needs to be full auto (modded M93r for example) you keep the full auto is your off hand and focus on your primary hand.
I used this idea to cover two possible entries while holding a room. Worked more often then not. Just make sure you can easily holster both weapons, because its easier to reload one hand free.

that's kinda true, I've held an area with my ak pointed one way and my capa unholstered and ready to fire the other way

Okay, maybe I will sound like an idiot for a sec, but... dual wielding is one thing, but how the hell do you reload? Is it actually possible to reload each weapon with one hand?

Main reason to dual wield: it's fun. When you want to be serious just use one. When you wanna have fun or just wanna cool off use two =]
