AK + Motor (Classic Army)
I'm looking to replace the motor on my AK 74 Classic Army SLR.
Looking for a good High Torque model, but I'm not sure if its a short or long motor. Can anyone help me with this? (I dont have access to my gun, traveling for work and looking to have all parts ordered and ready) Does anyone know? Thanks!!

Hi SpLaTtRED, this is my first time to post on this forum and it happens that AK was my favorite subject. I also did most of the upgrades on my rifles so let me help you regarding your inquiry...
If your CA SLR was upgraded, it still depends on the motor you will use. Guarder Infinite torque-up motor and Systema Magnum motors were too fast for your preference, I would suggest that you get a Tokyo Marui EG1000 motor for basic upgrades. Guarder and Systema High Torque motors would work best if you have a high profile upgrades such as hard-to-crank springs + Infinite gear set. I hope this one helps. Le me know if you have further questions. Thanks, |

Is it possible to change the motor by just removing the pistol grip, or is it nessesary to takeot the whole gearbox?
Sorry for the noobish question.
