WE G39 outter barrel wobble

Hello lads and lasses,

I have a WE G39 L with a slight problem. The outer barrel is wobbly. I made sure that the castle nut which holds the outer barrel to the hop up unit is tight. I compared it to another G39 to ensure correct assembly. However I have still had no luck and am stumped. I have seen one other with this problem but as of yet have heard nor read any type of remedy for this problem. And it's a shame as the gun has "sniper like" performance. It's just a pain when it shoots a different spot on your optic every time you bring up your rifle.

Now, I've never taken one of these apart myself but is it possible the barrel nut isn't getting close enough to the barrel? Maybe shimming that would help.

I don't have that issue with my G39, but I did have similar problems with an AK-74. I solved the problem by sliding a short length of shrink tube over the inner barrel, then heating it into place. When I reinstalled the inner barrel, it fit nice and tight inside the outer barrel, greatly improving the gun's consistency.

That seems to be the issue. I tried shimming it with a o-ring but the nut is so much bigger then that barrel that it slipped through. I'm almost thinking of spinning up a spacer in the lathe...

The problem is with the OUTER barrel.
