King Arms M4A1 vs. Velocity Arms V4A1 vs. G&G M4 Carbine
Hey Everyone!
I've been doing some research for my first airsoft gun and have narrowed it down to these three choices: King Arms M4A1 Velocity Arms V4A1 G&G M4 Carbine Basically, I want an M4 style gun that has the capacity for a number of modifications. The ability to modify a gun is important to me. I am not a crazy competitive player, more casual shooting with friends and the occasional field. I am largely concerned with reliability and accuracy. Each gun is between $290 and $310. So this isn't much help with making a decision. If I got the G&G it would be from buyairsoft.ca and if I got one of the other two it would be from an airsoft store where I live (so no waiting or shipping!) Based on your experience or knowledge of these guns, which would you recommend? Thanks! |

The King Arms M4 is superior by leaps and bounds. In fact between those three that is really the only choice. KA has in my opinion the best externals out there and very solid internals.
You won't be disappointed with that choice.

(Hate to be a noob here)
I have been looking into KA stuff, due to people on the forum telling me to get AV'd and buy a KA rather than G&G, and I'm curious. Is the M4 that we're all talking about only come with the standard M4 handguard, or is there a system in Canada with an RIS? I'm just curious, because I'm pretty interested in the CASV System, but I could settle with a standard M4 RIS on the gun, but not a handguard. I don't know why! I've been looking at the King Arms website and they seem to have several really nice M4's, but my question is: Do we have such a large list of KA's to choose from? Or just the standard M4/Handguard. |

Most external parts such as hand guards, and pistol grips are something that can be changed. That KA comes standard with the hand guards you don't like but can easily accept the CASV you want.

Thankyou. I knew that the parts can be interchanged easily, I just wasn't sure if there was an already-available flat-top version, without the handguard and the carry handle. That's alright, though. I'll settle and buy everything needed.
Thanks again. |

Where does VFC stand in this battle? At the top? I am looking at buying a high end gun, but cannot afford to listen to my gf bitch about a $1900 PTW.

VFC have great externals and solid internals, but that can be said about a lot of companies.

velocity arms is alright, but youll spend the first 2 months of ownership hating yourself because it has a clear plastic receiver. get metal and youll be far happier with the choice.

KING ARMS ALL DA WAYYYYY I'm a King Arms Fan Boy, Nearly Every Airsoft Gun i have owned since the day i started airsofting was a King Arms.
Ive been airsofting for about 5 years and thats even before i came to canada for school. My first gun was a Marui but once KA started making their M4s, I had their first M4 which was the Troy CQB A3 KA is Far superior than VA which is JG at heart as Kozzie said, G&G isn't as great either, if you want amazing externals and pretty good internals go with KA. however VFC is one of the best manufacturers out there and they make if not the best stock M4s and M16 AEGS
