Reference pics: CIVPOL in Afghanistan
Here are some pics of Canadian civilian police officers in Afghanistan. Interesting mix of CF equipment like C7A2's, CADPAT (AR) body armour and helmets, tan/blue combats and coloured police service badges:
Their hats look very similar to the "tilley" hats I was issued when I was a cadet, with the addition of CADPAT (AR) loops and cat-eyes on the back: |

the mission is now to train afghan police force IIRC so ... MPs are probably not enough for that I guess ?
