Does Marui Slide Stop fits Western Arms?
Anyone know if a Marui Slide stop fits in a WA 1911?

TM and WA have very different designs. I'd be quite amazed to hear of any parts that can be swapped between the two.

Can't fix my own guns. Willing to fix yours.

they are the same in general, but the main axle may be a different diameter depending on the model, as well as the nub to catch the mag follower and push it up is also probably slightly different, though I wouldnt be too surprised if it did fit... Ive got one around here somewhere, Ill post again after I find a TM catch and try it out

A TM M1911A1 catch does not work on an R-Type Infinity. It was too long and hit the grip. Not sure about a 1911 frame though.
A mainspring housing kind of fits... sort of.... its a little short though but you can pin it into the grip if you were wondering. For curiosity's sake I tried a TM barrel assembly in an R-Type slide on a TM body... no go. It did look pretty cool but it just vents gas since the loading nozzle gas route doesn't line up. |
