hey guys, the problem with the slide is that it doesn't lock when the I'm out of ammo. What do I do to fix this?

Anything else to describe the problem? It's pretty hard to diagnose with one sentence.
Worn slide catch? Follower on your mag not actuating the slide lock?

sorry i'm new to airsoft so i'm not quite sure how to describe the problem.
How do i tell if its the slide catch or the follower causing the problem? |

When you pull the slide back with an empty mag does the slide lock back into place? Does the slide catch move up. If YES than you can rule out the little piece in your mag that pushes up the BBs. Therefore, you have a problem with the slide itself or a worn slide catch.
If NO then its likely a problem with the mag follower not pushing up the slide catch. |

The slide does lock back when the mag is empty. if its the slide catch would I need to replace it? Where could I get a new one?

Hey you said you're new to airsoft? Just making sure, but did you buy the non-blowback version. The non-blowback version has a movable slide and will catch when you pull. It just doesn't blowback...at least that's what I've seen on reviews. Just trynna help mate =)
