Where to zero your sights?

I live in Rockwood,Ont. just outside of Guelph and I was wondering if anyone knows of a good place where I can go an zero my sights, adjust my hop up. test weapon upgrades etc. Maybe get a little Transition/fire practice in as well.

Yeah, That one is a given I would think, I was thinking a little more convenient,a little more accessible. Somewhere a little more day to day.

Use the longest part of your house, make a BB trap. Its easier if you zero in the windage of your gun to start out with, and just adjust for range once you're out there.

All very good suggestions, But I live in 750 sq ft apartment, in town. The longest I can zero for is about 10 feet. I would like to get a more distance. I have set up a bb trap as well, But it's only really good for my pistol. Is there no airsoft ranges or anything like that?

I always just show up a bit early and zero it before the game if I need to. Once you're dialled in you shouldn't really need to adjust anything unless you change something up.

The longest part of your house is probably the next best thing but it's only so effective unless you have a massive hallway. Make sure you're not breaking any laws if you choose to use your backyard.

edit** There aren't really any airsoft ranges, sounds to me like your best bet is to do it before a game.

I would recommend against using a persons backyard without notifying neighbors.
It's illegal to discharge a FIREARM within most city limits

You must know someone with a big backyard?

Yeah, I have some friends with backyards, But if the cops ever got called what a mess that would be, and beside I think my buddies wife would kick me in the balls for having a bunch of cops rush their house.

Or find a range. But seriously it's best to be done at a game.

I thought about going to a range. There are several around where I live, but I just don't know what kind of reception one would get. As far as the setting up at a game I don't really have a problem with it. I would just like to take my time try different setting and such. I just look at like this if I going to a game I like to be ready to go and not have to goof around fine tuning my settings, you know.

I always tweak my hopup day of, just because the change in temperature can ever-so slightly effect it that little extra bit.

I also always turn it completely off after an event, the idea is to prolong the life of the hopup so I've been told.
Even if not, just a little thing I do anyways.

Dude, Finches field is in Rockwood off of Guelph Line, he has games there pretty much 2-3 times a month, 4 in a row after this weekend. Look for them in the game section.
