What type of Bbs for my Pistol?

I'm going to buy the Skeleton Sidearms SS802 Prowler pistol and it shoots at 425-460 fps and is CO2 powered. I'm trying to decide between .20g bbs and .25g bbs

Which ones will work better? I would like a decent balance between long range and short range accuracy.

Minimum I'd use .28 BB Bastards. With that FPS range, I'd go upto .3's for sure

Not high at all. I use .28's in my 320-340fps WE P14.

Just be aware that this velocity is really high if you want to game it; CQB is often limited to 350fps with .2 and 400fps for outdoor fields. If plinking at paper targets it's fine though

2) where are you planning on playing? most outdoor places have an fps limit of 400 some up to 430 and most CQB places have a limit of 350.

3) with a pistol like that, i wouldn't use anything heavier than a .25s. the reason .28s are nice is they improve consistency and the flight path, with a gun like that, your BB trajectory will be limited to the quality of the parts used in the gun and not the BBs. buying .28s will just end up costing you more money for no real improvement.

Mostly target practise and the odd game with friends on property. That's about it and lots of target shooting and misc stuff.

EDIT: We don't have airsoft fields here or any indoor shooting places for that matter.

Ya, Skeleton Arms is the low end of mediocre. 0.25s are decent, I wouldn't go lighter. At that FPS, I'd suggest 0.28s or 0.30s.

I would recommend 0.28g at the absolute minimum for that FPS output, but if you really want to cheap out, 0.25g would suffice, if all you're doing is punching holes in paper at a 20 foot range. Actually, at that range, you could just use 0.12g. (not joking.) However, you'll find that as your range increases, groupings become more important, and the tighter your groupings are required, the more you'll have to use heavy ammo.

As for this SS226 being a "quality" airsoft gun, I'm sorry brother, but my experiences with skeleton sidearms products has me laughing at your opinion of their product.
