(Batteries and Walmart Airsoft) Stupid question but I'm curious

Well, I purchased a cheap mp7 from Wal-Mart for a movie project, and decided to try some of my batteries on it. Without surprise, the included 7.2v NI-CD 350mah is pretty weak. Using a 8.4v Ni-Mh, I got a big boost in the rate of fire.

Where I'm surprised, is in the performance of a Li-Po battery.

Using a 7.4v 20c (40 peak) (1800mah) Li-Po battery, the rate of fire is by far INFERIOR to the 8.4v battery.

Why is that? I'm curious.

Was the battery fully charged up?

I put a 7.4V 15C 1200 mAh lipo in my ex-girlfriends clearsoft "DPMS Panther" and it was a lot snappier than the included 7.2V or 8.4V. In fact it was more like a 9.6V at the start of the charge but near the end got sluggish and acted more like an 8.4V.

Yep, the battery was charged. That's actually what I checked first. Still have no clue why it's happening.

It's probably too busy frying the works to bother pushing BBs out fast.
