"Quieter" Buffer Spring
Hey Folks,
Finished my WA build not too long ago, wondering if anyone out there knows a good solution for my problem. When shooting the gun I can sometimes hear the buffer spring making contact in the buffer tube. Anyone have any ideas how to make the spring "quieter"? Thanks |

It's one of those things I've learned to live with as a side effect of the AR-15 design. Grease might help, but it creates a mess.

Stiffer springs reduce the *twang* that you get from it, but in general, real AR's do this as well.
