LEGAL, Transport Storage and Display
Well, I didn't see this posted anywhere, and I think it should be.
http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/cfp-pcaf/f...posage-eng.htm There are many suggestions on this subject, but nowhere have I seen these actual, legal guidelines. If deemed relevant enough, I would suggest posting this in FAQ's. |

Its not posted anywhere because there are no laws for our UNREGULATED firearms.
That document of for Non-Restricted and Restricted firearms. Airsoft rifles are technically considered to be Unregulated firearms. They do not need to meet the same requirements. The best way to transport them is to keep them in cases or bags. Out of sight, out of soccer mom mind.

local PD here in town told me i could do as i pleased with mine
i was politely asked however if at all possible to use a gun case or wrap in a blanket when in the car this is to keep it hidden because they can't tell if it's real or airsoft just a matter of respect i understand why, they do look so real i follow their request and keep them hidden |

There is no requirement of anything for airsoft guns. However it's a good idea to keep them out of sight in cases when transporting, and everyone does.

Gun bag. In trunk. Outta sight. Outta mind. Dudley Do-Right isn't going to be able to harass me if he doesn't get a panicked call from soccermom Sally cause she doesn't see it or know its there.

I agree use common sense, but now common sense is becoming less and less common,

Ya I know but I hate using soft cases unless I want to take my sight off. But usually wen I do take it somewhere populated its for fixing or something so the sights anyways.

To take it in for parts, maintenance, sell, trade, just purchased. I've had my gun in down town toronto at least 3 times in the last summer for some reason or another. Or my good friends only uses public transit to meet is places so if we are all goin to meet somewhere to car pool to play airsoft he would have to have his aeg, and he lives downtown....
