Problem with KJW m9 with safety trigger

I'm not quite sure if this is the same problem of the return springer which seems to be an apparent problem with most M9s
http://www.airsoftcanada.com/showthr...hlight=beretta

But this problem is after I apply the safety, cause when I remove it, sometimes the trigger won't release the hammer because the gun is still stuck on safety!

I'm not the most technical person, but I notice when the safety is applied, there is small latch connected to the trigger that goes slightly down so the hammer won't fall (hence the safety). But when I take of the safety, that small latch stays down so the trigger sometimes won't fire, or would require several trigger pulls before it fires! (and boy would that be fun in a field game, relying on your sidearm only for it to have it forever on safety!)

Anyways, help would be most appreciated, and if the link I posted above is actually my solution, then I'll try looking harder into that. Thx

I'm having the same problem with my KJW M9. Once the safety is put on it can't be disengaged because part #30 is still in a lowered position which prevents the hammer from falling. The only way to get the hammer to fall is to remove the slide and pull the trigger. Sometimes just through sheer luck it will fire or after some shaking and messing around with the gun.

I've tried lubing the part as most people have suggested but I don't think that's the problem. When I push the safety switch up something simply isn't catching, it's stuck on safe. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I have the exact same problem. The only way I get it to shoot is if I hold it on its side.

For visual reference..

its most likely that part #30 is broken. try to dis-assemble the safety mechanism of the gun and look for part #30. the top portion of part #30 should have a little "hook". this "hook" is connected to a litttle notch on the safety lever. when the safety is engaged, the lever is in its downward position and will therefore bring #30 downwards preventing the hammer from firing. when the safety is taken off, #30 should go upwards along with the lever.

hhhmmm, that's what I figured. I haven't fully disassembled the safety, but I can see the notch on the safety lever that should be catching this 'hook' on part #30. Too bad that hook is gone... Thanks prelude, I think that might be the problem but I will check back later. Thanks again.
