Warning / Awarness : Ottawa Vally
Hey guys, this is to raise awareness for the Ottawa Valley
https://www.facebook.com/doug.hamilt...54537251220464 Some idiots are using enola gaye smokes, on a house in Almote. Although it may be intended as a prank. This time it almost burnt down a porch and caught fire. These do burn cold however the device contains the heat so there is a chance that the spark can start a fire. Red Devils has tested them, however they have proven to be to hot even for there dry field. Please keeps these to person use in safe areas. The last thing we want is to have as players is a bad name for burning down property especially after bring clarity to the name that is airsoft in Canada. I am going to make a similar post on the Ottawa Valley site too to make sure awareness is spread.

Not Eye Safe, Pretty Boy Maximus on the field take his picture!

The first foot or so of the plume is typically quite hot in high volume smokes. It also stains like crazy.

every time i saw one of them enola gaye smoke grenades used, something caught fire. they seem to only be safe for use on concrete or tile.
i have yet to see a fire started by a battlefield smoke grenade, and they produce thicker smoke too.

I guess asking the police to spend 40 minutes of their time and take prints from the smoke is a moot point eh?

could be paintballers.... they sell these smokes in the same stores.
Anyways, what good would lifting prints do? you're assuming the perpetrators have been printed already and are already in the system. If they're not in the system it doesn't really help.

It does when you get suspects. Match the prints to the fingers and go go gadget conviction.
EGs have a great spark shower and get really fucking hot when you ignite them. The Tactical/Battlefield smoke is way better for coverage, only thing I use coloured smoke for is marking targets.
