What Gun Should I Buy?
Hi, i'm 15 and i'm looking to get into air soft. I played paintball a few times and loved it, its just to expensive. I wanted to buy a air soft gun off http://www.torontoairsoft.com/
My budget for just the gun without a battery is 200-250. Its ok if its out of stock because i waiting a few months until i buy it. Im going to play alittle cqb aswell as in a forest with friends. Fps wont matter because i can change the spring when i go play cqb.Im not gona play cqb often because its an hour drive so ill be playing for in a forest. Im thinking of getting a m4 or ak series type gun. Preferable with folding stock. What do you suggest? Im not gona have a pistol for now. I already have a smart charger and i would like the gun to support lipo. |

Just rent till you're old enough to own.
If the last few years have shown anything it's that 2 years down the road what's a hot gun today will be scrap. Save up for something good.

How much sand CAN you fit in your vagina!?

Make sure the forest you're playing doesn't have people walking their dogs, riding horses, hiking, riding mountain bikes, etc. also that the city doesn't have a bylaw against the discharge of firearms within city limits (yes they are considered firearms for certain aspects of the law and an airsoft field will have insurance and permits that you will not).
Your budget is a little shy. Every gun needs batteries, batteries need chargers, guns need magazines, magazines need BBs, magazines need pouches, eyes need ballistic protection, etc, etc, and on and on. If you want the most dirt cheap/semi-reliable gun, buy a G&G M4. You'll have to get it chrono'd to ensure its not shooting too hot, the store can likely do that for you. Playing in your local forest with a bunch of youths is a road to arrests, severe injuries, criminal charges, people getting sued, permanent weapons bans, etc.

Ehhh... as far as I'm aware, he actually can't technically purchase an airsoft gun as he's 15... Also, OP you can't really post retailers outside of the age verified section (which you don't have access to as you are not 18 and have not gone through the AV process). Finally, when you say "play in a forest", whose land would that be (yours? your family's? your friend's?) and how far away from civilization is it? Wait a few years, turn 18, and go to a legit field is my advice.

yea what your asking to do is illegal actually.
technically you cannot purchase it. you really shouldn't be playing on random forested property. and you'll shoot your eye out! Or someone elses. you got to get proper eye wear too! EDIT: you should do rentals, you and dad, or if your mom wants to aswell thats cool, can play at some events or go to seige. a few times a year! edit2: just set your gun to 1 FPS (366 is a great FPS for spherical objects), changing a spring can be a pain in the ass if your not experienced.

But hey ignore the advice from the guys who've been there done that.\ Changing a spring looks easy when an experienced gun doc does it. Hope you like springs flying across the room and triggers that do not want to sit still. |

I would recommend a JG or a CYMA AK with your budget.

Question; is every 15 year old in Ontario awarded a "large section of wooded land" on their birthday?
It just seems odd how many that have their own private field.
