GBBP Mag base plate lock with a screw?

So I'm kinda getting tired of always buying replacement ones. If it's not clear, I'm talking about that plastic nub thing at the bottom of the mag's spring. And I started to think if I could you small screws to deal with that kind of thing. At least for the plastic ones, screwing in a small screw to hold in the baseplate. I've thought about using some kind of epoxy to mold one but i wanted to think of one a little bit more "permanent"

I'd even go as far to epoxy a small screw or a small piece of metal/wood to do the same job

Anyone have any experience DIY'ing it?
