Broken TM Uzi

I broke the trigger on my Uzi. It broke up inside where the spring forces it against another metal plate, just off centre of where the actual trigger comes down out of the grip.

Anyone know where I can order a replacement trigger? If they're not available is there some way to "weld" the pot metal it's made of? Will brazing work, or is the melting point too low?

Thanks.

Hi,

I've had the same thing. There are no replacement parts for the TM Uzi.
I ended up with Arco & Frecce in Italy where they had another broken TM uzi where I 've gotten the part from.

I was afraid of that. I wonder why they send that handy-dandy parts list with it, when they don't actually sell replacement parts. TM -1

Anyone familiar with brazing/welding small pot-metal airsoft parts?

Thanks.

depending on how wide the metal is, you could take a dremel, with a small bit, and drill a small hole on both sides of the break, and put small metal sticks in, and glue/JD weld them in, that might fix it, if not, take it to a machinist and see what they can do.

Holy crap... 6 year necropost. And I'm still unsure as to what you're getting at here...

He's thinking that after six years one of these guys may want to buy what's left of his uzi for spare parts.
