Just be careful. Blackhawk is on the U.S. State Dept. list of Military suppliers with export controls. The guys I know who buy Blackhawk from the U.S. go to small, private retailers with no problems thus far.
This is a relatively recent development, going back to last fall. I'm not saying you won't get your order, just don't be surprised if U.S. Customs seizes it without warning.

From what I understand, the biggest problem form the U.S. side is that contractors who supply the miliatry are forbidden from foreign civillian sales. They don't want to lose their "tactical edge".
The biggest companies affected are Diamondback. EoTech, ARMS, VLTOR, Blackhawk and others for products like armour, NV, gun internals and makers like Colt.

Seriously....
Incidentally, if you ordered from their site they'll *probably* refer you to the nearest local distributor, which will probably be Nicholls. Last time I did that, I got an email about a week later saying "We have contacted your local distributor on your behalf, please follow up with them. Your order has not been processed and you have not been charged". |

Aaah yes - I remember that scar now - dancing with Nicholls is just such a treat!
I have to admit - they were the only one's to get a CamelBack MotherLode in Woodland when all others could not. |

That's what i'm saying. I ordered, and all looked fine until a few weeks later when I got an email saying my order was cancelled and I should refer to the local distributor.

Dude - you do it to yourself - nothing I could say that can top that.
Secondly, BPG is out of Virginia now, where the Atlantic Command is stationed in Norfolk. Just go to the site - really, I can't make this shit up. http://www.blackhawk.com/prod_detail...pid=contact_us The guy said he's using Linux - short of troubleshooting his DNS issues for free, I don't know why he can't load the site. I wasn't flaming you - your behaviour is pissing me off. You'll know a flame from me... |
