APS2 Type 96 + PDI hop-up

I have just received my new gun (traded form an other user).

Everything was perfectly wraped, and there was no signs that anything was missing.

Still, when I arrived to assemble the inner barrel and hop-up, I could not make it fit well.

I suspect that the hop-up sleeve if not the right one, because it will not go all the way inside the hop-up chamber.

If anyone else have this rifle and hop-up, can you please take some pictures? I need to know if I am just incompetent or there do is a problem.

Also, I can't find any replacement parts for either the hop-up or sleeve/bucking. Is there any?? Went through WGC, uncompany and Redwolf and I only found pistons, cylinders, springs and trigger parts.

Is there any retailer around the world carrying Maruzen spare parts??

I have the same combo. Type96 and PDI Hopup. The hopup rubber is simply an AEG rubber. I use the First Factory/Laylax Hard (red) one. The little nub for the PDI chamber that presses down on the hopup rubber is only available with the PDI chamber itself. If you've lost it, you'll have to make one yourself.

As far as your problem goes with fitting the barrel onto the PDI chamber... you do have an AEG inner barrel, right? The stock inner barrel or a direct replacement inner barrel is not compatable with the PDI chamber. You have to purchase an AEG inner barrel for use with the PDI chamber.

AH! AH!

Now I know why.
I am sure at 98% that it is a stock inner barrel I have!

It actually solves a problem, since the only tightbore I could find for it was retailing at near 200$.

Well. Time for an order from Jugglez...hello PSG-1 barrel!
