Hi everyone. I am happy to find this forum. Im a new member. I have been into airsoft for the last two years while living in Taiwan. i bought a T91 and it rocks! I have returned to Canada (Vancouver) and of course brought the T91 with me. I would like to find out more about any airsoft groups inj the Vancouver area and cant wait to play again!

Did you have any problems bringing your airsoft gun into the country?

If you continue reading the site you'll discover that importing airsoft into Canada is technically illegal so it's hard to do. All but impossible from a retailer and risky even from international private sellers.

Did you have your gun shipped? What method did you use?

Eventually (if enforcment continues to escalate this issue) the time is going to come for people to decide whether their enjoyment of airsoft is worth disobeying an unjust law.

I seriously doubt someone relocating to another country would be able to carry all of their worldly possesions on the same flight they take to transport their person.

I'm sure it COULD be done but you'd have to pay a fortune for being over your alloted weight for a passenger flight. In terms of pound per dollar passenger flights are the single most expensive way to ship cargo.

More than likley he had his gear shipped via a commercial cargo flight. Hell for all we know it came by boat (which is actually pretty common)

If I'm wrong and he DID transport the stuff on a regular flight in his checked bags then I share the sentiment.

Either way it's another airsoft gun in the country and that's nothing but good news.

Actually, I brought the disassembled AEG in the checked luggage. It went on the same plane as me.I took the gun apart into about 10 peices and put them in plastic bags mixed in with the moped parts that i also brought. I was allowed two 32 kilograms boxes...The moped parts were all metal and i figured that mixing them together would fool the X-ray machines at the airport.Seems like it worked like a charm!
