Buying New Guns
I've got some extra cash lying around and I thought I could use some new guns. Where would I be able to buy a good quality gun? I previously ordered a Gen3 Accushot Competition Master from OpsGear. What would be a better gun to purchase? I am looking at a sniper rifle and an AEG - P90 or M4 maybe.

well where are you located? if its in canada, i highly suggest NOT ordering from outside of canada. if you are located in the USA, then hells bells you got it made. how much cash do you have lying around? that would help us determine which gun you should buy. id recommend either a TM or a nice VFC, which is always fun. also, what role are you trying for? if its a sniper one, then go buy a tanaka sniper rifle.

Well I live in Ontario in Canada. I'm looking to buy both a sniper rifle and an Aeg. I was considering the Tanaka but I have no way of obtaining it. I could spend probably around 600 dollars.

Well, $600 will get you one gun, not two. Provided you're >18, look at getting a quote from 007 airsoft for a high end gun, or look at shootsoft.ca for lower end stuff. Or, get age verified and view the classifieds.

just for the record, never order (guns) from outside of canada. if you have before, you just got lucky. if you get caught, the gun will be destroyed, your money NOT REFUNDED and you blacklisted. that means that ANYTHING you order outside of canada, even if its a book, will we opened and searched. just so you know. with $600, id get a nice CA gun, maybe a M1514? But search around for what you like. you could get a really nice pistol with cool upgrades or with that kind of money, id get a super cool kit (that is if i already had a gun).

To echo what everyone else said, don't order from outside Canada. You don't want to attract the attention and wrath of the border services.
Just an unrelated note - by using your email address for a user name, prepare to receive a flurry of spam. Spam bots troll forums all the time harvesting email addresses. You just made it easy for them.

When I started, I thought exactly the same as you do.
After a week of searching US airsoft retailer websites, I have come to my own conclusion rather quickly that THEY have already specified that they will NOT ship to Canada, because Canada does not allow importation of airsoft guns. Simple, isn't it? You don't even need to go through all those trials and errors, because they won't ship anyways.

Some of them will, and don't care if stuff gets seized.

Indeed. Some US sites will ship to you even when they know it will get seized. They don't care. They made their money. I hear some Hong Kong retailers will to, but they will warn you first that your item will more than likely get seized, giving you the option of backing out of the sale before they ship.
