Back in TO...looking for,

....verification.

When i was up last summer for work, i contacted the fellow (on this site) that owns the Army Surplus store in South Mississauga / oakville area.....i never got a response from him when i asked...

....i am back for a month in Mississauga on freelance and i'd like to get this sorted out before i go back to Kingston. I'm a bargain hunter and don't want to buy new!!

Any quick solutions?! . . . I blew my engine on the way up to TO, transportation is a be-atch untill i get that sorted out aswell too...

Thanks everyone.

Transit? If you take the 19 Hurontario bus, you get off at the Port Credit GO Station and its a short walk from there, just walk up to Stavebank Rd and go south until Lakeshore, you should see it RIGHT before you get Lakeshore.

Or if worst comes to worst, take a cab. Unless you get a hold of him and he is willing to meet up with you somewhere else, thats his call.

If Toronto doesn't work out for you, PM Mafioso_Grande when you get to Kingston. He was pretty quick to meet up to verify me.

Don't know what you drive, but I killed the motor in my Jeep a year and a half ago. Ordered a new one from http://www.precisionmasterengines.com/ and after a bit of parts swapping and cursing I had a shiny new engine in my Jeep. I recently cooked it (again) and I'll be ordering another one from them to replace it.

Great thanks info guys.... !

last i checked there wasn't a kingston rep...that's great. I'll do my best to get around to that store when i can borrow my sisters car.

Ya, no....this car is cooked... ill take my $200 from the wreckers and be done with it. : )

Thanks everyone. Uhmmm, if i can ask... is it worth my while to get verified, are there enough deals / variety out there? ... or does everyone hang onto their stuff? Thought i'd ask before getting into the trouble...

There's not a lot of options for retailers (for guns) on the 'Net right now, so getting verified is definatly worth it if you're looking for AEGs/GBBs in addition to gear. There's almost always a drool-causing deal on the site somewhere...

Well seeing as how the only 'public' retailer in Canada right now is 007 and few can ever seem to get in touch with him, it's worth it. Age verification gets you access to shootsoft.ca, which is a great store with good prices. Mostly China clones right now, but he's adding TM and CA products as well.

Tere are the private retailers that only sell on this forum. There are some good guns for great prices. And of course, there's the used market which offers a decent selection.

So yes, it's worthwhile getting verified. My collection has grown tremendously since I got verified, and at a fraction of the price it would have cost to get it from 007 or A&A.

Love to see the PM as I can't find it and I have stuff going back to late 2005.
But I do neglect requests to get verified over the web. I tend to not respond to requests to meet up with people at a coffee shops. I think its great that the age verifiers go out, take time outta their schedules and meet new guys to provide this service. I'm not one of them.
If your not interested enough to get on a city bus, ride out to Port Credit and get verified then neither am I.
Dude, I sell pants! Come by, you'll get age verified and you you can boo around in the shop and check out some goodies and shoot the breeze a little, may even get introduced to some other players as there are usually some lurking around.

So, i found the PM...... and the answer as to why you never responded.

Sorry dude.... that was 8 months ago, but im sure i had the right guy at the time...donno where i got the name from...but im positive it was from the verification list...must have been a long day at work. : )

ha, ya, your points are all well taken... The transit here scares the shit out of me...as i've only used a go train twice and the subway downtown.... buses here are insane...i mapped my way to work, and the 15 min drive it'd normally take turns into an hour and 3 transfers. Grrrr.
