Air Nozzle Not Moving

So just when I thought I had it all solved and working another problem arises. Just installed a new tightbore barrel and some external parts. Prior to this I had a problem with bb's coming out of the barrel at an extremely low velocity. After switching the barrels and reassembling the hop up I tested it, after about 50-60 rounds that looked normal the last 2 went back to the low velocity then no bb's at all! It is not the mag because I can hear them feed up when I put it in. I don't THINK its the hop up but I now notice that my air nozzle is no longer moving. Any insight? thanks.

- nozzle is not connected to tappet
- tappet plate is broken

When you say it's not moving, do you mean it's fully forward or fully/partially rearward?

Fully Forward - If your front end is not aligning the barrel/hopup properly with the reciever/mechbox the nozzle will get stuck in the hopup unit.

Full Rearward - What Saint said above.

it looks fully foward, but it doesnt look stuck. ill have to have another look at it i guess. hopefully thats the case and not..."worse" lol

UPDATE: Definitely not stuck unfortunately. Where is the spring for the tappet plate located on a V2 G36 King Arms gearbox? Am I going to be able to see it or the tappet plate without taking apart the gearbox?

No, you'll have to take it apart.

I'm with The Saint on this. It's one of those problems, and sounds like a broken tappet plate to me.

Ive bee meaning to ask this for a while, how often do tappet plates break?

should i replace my kraken and tf16mechbox with modify tappets or keep running with stock until they break? has to do with flexibility rigth?

oh and to answer ur question, take the mechbox apart and look for ur answer, its gonna be a very obvious prob, what Saint said...

i would just run them to they break. "if it aint broke, dont fix it!" unless you got some extra cash you want to blow.

+1. Run it till it breaks. Unless you're looking to upgrade other aspects of the gun, just leave it stock.
