Reference pics

Other sections have decent reference pics, which the Canadian section is lacking, so when I came across these I figured I should throw them up.

Resolution on most is sub-par, unfortunately.

Note C7A2 with RAS front end (thanks to -MikeL-)

In Ref to the C7A2 with the rails; it's a RAS not RIS. Also, lot of guys go and buy their own RAS handguards for their C7 or C8.

Aswell there's been a new rail addition to the foregrip with a short 6" rail underneath the heatshield.

Thanks for the insight; didn't think you'd be allowed to modify your weapon that way. Do they actually add the RAS to the issued receiver or just swap out the entire upper?

It's a non-permanment modification. You are just swapping the plastic handguards for the RAS handguards.

You wouldn't be allowed to use your own upper receiver, etc. Handguards, sights, pistol grips, etc are good to go though.

...kay? Did you see one or were you just making a general comment on the C7's?

I think he may be refering to the one on the first website listed. I personally have no idea whether or not it's been labelled correctly though. You may know better.

That's what I was referring to. I have never seen a C8 variant quite like that.

I thought that was "Chinaman". I only knew him briefly. RIP.

Could someone ID the gear in this pic please? I believe they're MPs.
