G36C Silencer

I am looking to extend the inner barrel on my G36C, Thinking of hiding it in a silencer

I know the threads are a bit hidden inside the hand gaurd and therefor a narrow silencer is needed...
Anyone know what the dimensions of a silencer that would work are?

Most seem to be 40ish mm's wide...

You could also get a G36k extension barrel and use that with a flashhider, or that paired with a silencer of some sort.

I have a 420mm barrel in there. I probably could have gone with a 455mm AK barrel. Definetely don't use a 40cm diameter silencer. They are so fat. 20-35mm at most.

thanks Saint, although the silencer that SNK has on there seems to fit pretty solid, It looks to me like the one from airsoftparts.ca that i inked... if it will fit without me having to spend another 30 bucks on the extender, then im set.
just wanna make sure that that is in fact the one hes talking about.

Trust me, there's no way it won't fit.

Double negative in there. There's no way, it won't fit. IE: it is impossible for that NOT to fit.

It will fit nomatter what.

Nice G36C.
Where did you get that top rail with H&K markings on it? is that from a RS one?

well, gone ahead and ordered my silencer and my tight bore,
got a 455mm, AK barrel
I am wondering if you think it will be too long, anyone with tight bore experience have any ideas?

stock G36 barrel is 247mm+a 195mm tight bore, that gives me 442mm of space,
Think that the extra 13mm will fit?
its almost nothing, ima thinking that the 247 is leavening a few cm's of space extra..
thoughts?
knowledge?
please...
enlighten me!

Just make sure that you change your cylinder so that it matches the length of your barrel.
