CAG36C Always shooting in full-auto
As the title states, even when it is in semi auto the gun shoots in full.
I was just wondering if you guys know of any possible reasons as to why this could happen. PS: I know the semi/full auto is lined up properly when the gearbox is dropped into the hand grip, but any other reasons? |

apparently the CA G36 series has a connection issue. you have to take the mechbox out and just fix the metal connectors on the outside of the box. if its not that, it might be that the cutoff level needs replacement.

yeah most likely the cutoff lever. thats pretty much the only thing that can make it shoot auto in semi. either something wrong with it or one of the parts its attached to.

Well apparently, it will shoot on semi and when i switch it around everything works. Its only when I put in a mag is when it only wants to shoot on full...?weird!

Not wierd.
You have a bound wire. It does not make contact when there is no mag, but when you insert one, the added pressure on the parts is making a short or moving something. I would suggest to re-wire the whole mechbox. You have enought space to fit the wire on the top left side of the mechbox and route them between the hop-up knob and the left side of the body. I will take a picture of mine to show you. |
