In the film Elephant (2003) It shows one of the gun looks like M16 variant, any idea what airsoft gun is it? (when they first introduce the gun loading, the ar magazine has a lil hole for bbs so I assume its an airsoft)

heres the pic, sorry couldnt find better view.

It's really look like AR but for the sake of AR, why it doesn't has the front sight.

Yes, I knew you can replace the sight by using optic but still I didn't see any optic in the picture. Just only barrel, handguard, body, stock and plus magazine. I just wonder how those guy aim rifle.

That movie was the most Anti-Gun piece of shit I've EVER seen. How the FUCK can you just randomly get an AR15 in the mail without any background checks, or anything of that sort? Seriously. Fuck.

Also, that's a RS carbon-15, AFAIK.

EDIT: Maybe not. Looks like a C-15, though.

It looks like an AR with a free floating barrel match handguard of some kind. Something along the lines of:

According to IMDB:

"The gun that Alex uses is a Bushmaster Carbon 15 Type 21 semi-automatic varmint rifle"

Found this on UNCompany. Says it's a Bushmaster UNCompany custom gun.

Judging by the stock, free floating RAS, safe and semi markings on the receiver, and barrel, its a Bushmaster Carbon 15. Same as here:

http://www.bushmaster.com/catalog_ca...AZ-C15R97S.asp

But the one in the movie has no iron sights and a black barrel. Lever Arms were selling this exact model at one time IIRC, now they only have the dessert tan color now.

Can't be that exact model in your pic. The one in your pic has a gas block on it, the one in the movie doesn't. Also, the UN company one has a 6 position Car-15 style stock, the one in the movie doesn't, its a fixed stock.
